Title + Motion Design
Hi. My name is William.I worked on Lauren Bacall's final film and the Darkest Dungeon II teaser trailer. You can hire me to design and/or animate on/for/near your film, game, or media project. My experience covers typography, layout, compositing, and 2d puppeting.
I do not and will not use generative a.i.Watch my reel above-- and check a look at my work below-- for my approach and style, which I am always excited to challenge and expand.I am eager to contribute to more games...! As well as trailers, I would very much enjoy creating a game's title sequence.
And if you're a game trailer editor, let's team-up!peace,

Darkest Dungeon II Teaser Trailer
Created under the direction of Red Hook Studios co-founder Chris Bourassa.I used client-provided artwork to create a 2.5d environment, composited and puppeted the games’ characters, created particle effects of snow and fire, animated the camera, and applied a color grade.
Clash of Clans Update Trailers
I've been the 2d design and animation lead on dozens of Supercell spots for Eyestorm Creative, including Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, incorporating my 2d skills into their 3d pipeline, under Post Producer Michael Tousey and Creative Director Michael Klima.I recreated and animated game UI, created 2.5d environments using client-provided artwork, composited and puppeted character art, designed and animated typography, animated the camera, and applied color grades.
Other Game Trailers
Left to Right: Clash Royale for Eyestorm Creative.
Guacamelee! and Morphies Law for Derek Lieu Creative.
The Ballad of Danko Jones Titles
I was given carte blanche to design and animate a title sequence for the short film The Ballad of Danko Jones featuring Elijah Wood, Ralph Macchio, Selma Blair, and Jena Malone (and the titular Danko Jones!).
Directed by The Diamond Bros.Selecting still frames by cinematographers Amanda Treyz and Brandon Trost, I used a cut-out and paint-away technique, animating the camera through each actor to reach the next, with a continuous frenetic movement.
I created the main-on-end titles for Lauren Bacall’s final film, Carmel-by-the-Sea (later retitled The Forger), a story in which her character befriends a painting prodigy played by Josh Hutcherson. Also starring Alfred Molina, Billy Boyd, and Hayden Panettiere.Collaborating with actual painter William Rose, I colored and composited his portraits, constructing a single-surface camera move, suggesting one giant painting, revealing each actor with paint leaks and spills.
I wrote, directed, animated, edited, and sound designed this trailer for my Parsec award-winning epic fantasy podcast novel Fire on the Mound.Art by Brian Ellis. Music by William Seegers.
Narrated by Steve Rudolph.
